さくらのVPSにmercurialをインストールしようとしたら
Setup script exited with Couldn't import standard bz2 (incomplete Python install).
っていうエラーが出てなんでかなぁと、インストールメモを見たらbzip2-develを入れてなかった。
yum install bzip2-devel
ついでにPython-2.7.2にバージョンをあげてからmercurial入れた。
