Google Maps Integration with DecisionSite Developer’s using the DecisionSite platform are already familiar with the extensive set of API’s that are available for building new Tools and Guides. Less well known are the methods available for extending the core platform to take advantage of existing web services or pre-built functionality. The web-based Google Map service (maps.google.com) provides an excellent example of a third-party service that can be integrated with Spotfire. This article will describe a method for integration using a new control window, providing a seamless interface between the two applications. The new Google Map service will be used as the example, providing a map-based graphical display of a DecisionSite dataset containing geocoded (latitude/longitude) data.

スポッポファイアーはどんなもんかっつーと、query deviceってかいてるスライダーを動かすとそれに応じて、真ん中のプロットが消えたり表れたり、まぁ要するに、インタラクティブな表示が出来るわけで、それにajaxな画面をくっつけたら、そりゃもう快適ですよ。

ensemblなんかもajaxになって、スポッポファイアーとインテグレート出来れば偉いかっちょいいだろうに。

まぁそんなサービスでないかナァ。
